Senior Azure Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Azure Platform Engineer for a major international company operating critical infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role focused on platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code, and Azure platform development in secure and restricted environments. You will be joining an established setup and will help extend and evolve an existing framework rather than build a new platform from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain an existing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) framework
• Build and evolve Azure landing zones and platform foundations
• Develop, maintain, and version reusable Terraform modules
• Establish and maintain platform environments supporting development and testing
• Design and implement release and promotion mechanisms across environments
• Support migration from GitHub SaaS to self-hosted GitHub environments
• Manage CI/CD processes, versioning strategies, and deployment workflows
• Work with artifact repositories and software supply chain practices
• Ensure solutions function in restricted or isolated environments with limited connectivity

Required Skills

• Strong Terraform experience, including reusable modules, versioning, and enterprise-scale frameworks
• Strong Azure experience, including AzureRM, landing zones, and platform foundations
• Understanding of Azure CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework)
• Strong GitHub experience, including GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with self-hosted or enterprise GitHub environments
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory or similar artifact management platforms
• Experience defining release and promotion strategies across environments
• Experience working in restricted, offline, or highly regulated environments
• Understanding of OT (Operational Technology) constraints and how they impact cloud and platform engineering
