It was a short and quick process from Hans Peter Isidor uploading his CV in Epico's CV database to him being offered a job with one of Epico's customers – a process that Hans Peter is certainly happy with.
Epico's CV portal and subsequent process
Hans Peter Isidor has worked with e-commerce and project management since 1998, and in his career he has also gained experience with CMS, dissemination of data and business development. Recently, he decided to quit his job to become an independent consultant.
Therefore, Hans Peter went on the hunt for available consultancy assignments that matched his profile, wishes and skills. In this connection, he came across a job posting from Epico via LinkedIn, and after looking at our website, he decided to register in our CV database and upload his CV.
I decided it was time to try something new, so I quit my job at the end of December 2021 and started looking for freelance assignments to get the business off the ground. That's when I came across Epico, checked out their website, and thought it looked very exciting.
Immediately after Hans Peter uploaded his CV in our database, all the cogs were set in motion. At Epico, we have dedicated resource management teams that screen and qualify all consultants – both those who upload their CV via our portal and those who come into contact with us in other ways. Hans Peter was then screened by one of our resource managers in Aarhus, Ann-Sofie Andersen, and she could immediately see a possible match between Hans Peter's profile and vacancies with our customers.
From zero to one hundred in just two weeks
After Hans Peter had uploaded his CV, things went fast. Our resource manager contacted Hans Peter and together they had a chat about his CV, skills and wishes and a possible task with one of our customers. Very quickly, Hans Peter was also introduced to Svend Erik Larsen, sales manager at Epico and was also invited in for a cup of coffee at our office in Aarhus, so that all parties could meet each other properly.
I’ve had a great conversation with both Svend Erik and Ann-Sofie, and also had the opportunity to visit Epico’s office in Aarhus, meet everyone in person, and enjoy a cup of coffee, which was really nice, it was great to put faces to the names.
And just two weeks after Hans Peter had uploaded his CV in our database, there was a match. After discussions with both Epico and the customer, Hans Peter was offered a 6-month contract as a project manager with a major customer in the energy and utility industry, which is headquartered in Fredericia.
"I think it's absolutely fantastic that it has gone so quickly, and there has been really good communication from all the people I have had contact with at Epico," says Hans Peter Isidor about the collaboration with Epico.
And speed and match between skills and task are really important to Hans Peter, which was also one of the reasons why he chose to go with an assignment through Epico:
If there’s no work for me, there’s no revenue. So, for me, it’s important that the right task is available and that the process moves quickly. Additionally, the uncertainty about when you’ll start a task and how long it will last should be eliminated, and that’s certainly been achieved in my collaboration with Epico.
Hans Peter will, among other things, be responsible for ensuring the delivery and execution of a major website project, and is looking forward to getting started properly with the project, which will take place partly in Fredericia and partly from home in Vejle, where Hans Peter himself lives.
