Epico-IT strengthens its position with the acquisition of Twins – a specialized consulting firm within freelance IT competencies and recruitment. The acquisition marks a strategic step in Epico’s ambition to reinforce its position, particularly within the financial sector as well as pensions and insurance.

A strategic acquisition with clear direction and perfect timing

Since 2009, Epico has provided IT competencies to both public and private companies in Denmark and internationally. With offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Poland – and a network of more than 13,000 IT specialists – Epico has established itself as a key player in the market for IT freelancers and recruitment.

Since 2002, Twins has specialized in headhunting and recruiting IT freelance profiles primarily for Danish clients – with a particular focus on delivering highly specialized professionals to the insurance, pension, and financial sectors.

Twins will continue as an independent entity under Epico-IT, and Birgitte Rygaard will take on the role of Customer Director. All current employees at Twins will continue their journey with Epico-IT. From the beginning of the new year, Twins will move physically to Epico’s headquarters in Ballerup.
