What We Offer You

As Team Leader in the Java department, you will be part of a dedicated management team consisting of 10 leaders. You will be responsible for the daily leadership of a skilled team of 5 software engineers, ensuring frameworks are set, challenges are solved, and employee satisfaction remains high.

You will have a key role in shaping the future of JYSK’s Java operations, taking responsibility for strengthening the team and its support structures. You will take the role of product owner for your team, where you will influence the entire direction of this critical area, making a significant impact on the organization.

Your Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the Java support team consisting of 5 employees.

- Collaborate across business areas to ensure effective and innovative support solutions.

- Implement leadership principles, focusing on goal-orientation and accountability.

- Oversee operational tasks, including communication with customer service and business units, and ensure minimal downtime.

- Drive post-mortem processes to analyze and address technical issues.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate has:

- Solid experience in software development and Java technologies.

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- A proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

- A collaborative mindset and a passion for developing both teams and individuals.

- Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum.

- A technical background with an understanding of operational tasks, including support and troubleshooting.

- Interest in leveraging AI and innovative technologies.
