Senior Network Engineer – Milestone Systems

EPICO is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer on behalf of Milestone Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining their network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for:

• Network design
  Architecting and enhancing the company’s network platform, ensuring high degrees of security, scalability, and robustness.
• Network technology changes and management
  Implementing and managing the network connectivity (network firewall management, switches and routers, wireless) across multiple locations.
• Collaboration & Alignment
  Driving continuous platform improvement and establishing architectural standards for the network. Providing policies and standards for the area.

A typical week in the role could include:

• Designing and developing technology changes following the Agile methodology
• Transitioning solutions into operations
• Planning and implementing changes into production
• Working on complex incidents and problems
• Staying informed about technology trends
• Ensuring technical cooperation within and across teams
• Collaborating with vendors

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in networking (on-premises and cloud). It is expected that the candidate matches most of the following:

• Proficiency in network infrastructure design and management – switching and routing (primary focus: Aruba)
• Proficiency in firewall security (primary focus: Palo Alto technologies)
• Proficiency in wireless networking (preferably Cisco Meraki)
• Hands-on experience with cloud network connectivity and network security, including cloud-native firewalls (MS Azure) is preferred
• Experience with SAN and storage is preferred
• Experience with Terraform is preferred
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Relevant educational IT degree and experience

Please note that the position is on-site at their headquarters in Brøndby and requires a valid work visa.
