Simulation Engineer – AD/ADAS Closed-Loop Development Specialist

Assignment Description

We are looking for a skilled Simulation Engineer to join a client engagement through our consultancy brokerage. In this role, you will build and enhance a state-of-the-art closed-loop simulation ecosystem for AD/ADAS, and support other teams with test automation and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a cutting-edge closed-loop simulation ecosystem
• Implement closed-loop simulation modules in C++
• Create test automation and data analysis tools in Python
• Integrate simulation environments with AD/ADAS software
• Support development teams by creating test scenarios and conducting post-analysis
• Collaborate with users to capture and implement simulation feature requests

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Mechanics, or similar
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
• Version control experience with Git (Gerrit preferred)
• Comfortable working in Linux environments
• Prior simulation development experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English communication

Nice to Have

• Automotive or traffic simulation background
• Understanding of Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban, SAFe)
• Knowledge of Pandas/Numpy for data analysis
• Experience with containerization (Docker)

Practical Information

Engagement Duration: 6–12 months, extension possible
Start Date: Immediate or by agreement
Location: Hybrid remote/on-site at client in Gothenburg, Lindholmen
